Venexia

The invention of the first "artificial mind" is considered by many practitioners one of the fundamental milestones on the path to Singularity. When we will be able to replicate most of our mental abilities in an artificial medium, we will be very close to our final goal: the first generation of reliable artificial minds will bring radical changes to the whole social infrastructure, as well as helping us building a second generations of even better systems. Soon, the so-called "explosion of intelligence" will produce a new era in the human history.

iLabs studies on the symbolic modelling of several mental processes (cognition, emotion, planning) brought us to a computational theory of the human mind, The Psychology of the Models of Reference. Starting from the formal foundations of the The Mathematics of the Models of Reference, our account aims to a perfectly non-vague description of the "language of thought": on the one hand, we hope that a formal framework would help systematize the current body of notions and tools in psychology; on the other, we believe it could greatly improve not just our ability to diagnose mental illness, but also the efficacy of clinical intervention on unhealthy subjects.

Building upon these theorethical results, we created Venexia, the first A.I. software designed for smarter help desks and automated customer care thanks to her native ability to understand natural languages.
